Note: a test with Thunar also revealed the same delay. It was not present in 17.3, and I don't remember it being present in 18.2. This behaviour seemed to start in Mint 18.3 at some point but I can't say exactly when, but is still present in 19.1 with a full clean install. I have not tested rsync from the NAS to the laptop. Copying files to the NAS seems to be fine, as does using rsync to sync to the NAS. This does not happen with cp in Terminal, or with Konqueror, which do not have delays. 30 second delay before each file copies (whether copying a single file or several files, whether in folders or not). When trying to copy files FROM a Synology NAS (DS115j) TO my local laptop via Nemo, there is an approx. #SET UP GRSYNC TO SYNOLOGY LINUX MINT DRIVER#* Graphics hardware *and* driver used : see specs at bottom of post * Distribution - (Mint 17.2, Arch, Fedora 25, etc.) : Mint 19.1 * Is issue with desktop or windowed nemo? : Both? ![]()
